2025 Scholarship Recipient-Nancy Ho

The DAPi Scholarship Review committee members are delighted to announce the selection of Nancy Ho as the 2025 scholarship recipient of $2500. Ms. Ho is a senior at the University of Pittsburgh where she carries a double major in psychology and neuroscience with a cumulative GPA of 3.503; her goal is to become a child and adolescent psychologist. Ms. Ho has served as secretary and vice president for the Alpha Iota Chapter and will assume the presidency in fall. In addition, she is a member of the David C. Frederick Honors College. She has organized and participated in numerous events and
served as a guest speaker related to disability issues. Her Developmental Psychology professor stated, “Her work was not only insightful but also impeccably written, placing her in the top 1% of my current class and among the top 2% of the 600 students I have taught over the years.” In her essay related to her membership in DAPi, Ms. Ho commented, “I have learned that advocacy is not just about fighting for accommodations – it’s about creating a world where disabled individuals are valued, empowered, and heard.”
